Hope the car gets sorted.

You are lucky as I am to have such great competent 928 mechanics with their personalities close to us (Stan for me).
I’ve been thinking about that already, lol. Figured I could leave my car there if I got his started, sadly my Rover’s A/C has crapped out and if I have to go get parts then I’ll be sweating. Rogers on vacation this coming week so no personal delivery. I’m afraid that Brads issue is more than just a no start issue and will need to dig in and find out what else is going on, this is just a side effect from sitting so long. Betting he’s just got a relay pooched on this deal.

Actually that was mine after the flat bed driver decided that was the appropriate place to attach the tie down chains to. No reason to ever attach anything to that and pull on it, no matter the force. Especially when there is beefier structure nearby.

Yup, old cars need places to pull from and tie down to. These gold colored rear suspension pieces from 928MS are great.

I use a sealed Optima AGM battery so the battery box no longer needs to be open to the outside for venting or drainage and with the extra wires coming out the top its not completely sealed there so won't build up any pressure if some corrosion forms on the terminals. I also installed a different battery mount for the Optima so the battery couldn't move around at all so some of those bolts are from the mount and the others are installed with neoprene washers and fender washers to seal up the factory holes and make it water tight. The battery box stays completely clean and rust free insidgetting

That certainly changes things, Brad!

Good to see you have a compassionate offer of help from Sean - he's a good man.
