Default S4 radiator

What do you think of this option? I may need to replace my S4 radiator and I got literally scared to death about spare part (from various EU suppliers) price ranging from 1800 to 2400 USD.

I would get the CSF unit from Mark or Roger for $595 instead as it is most likely higher quality than this one.

The OP's location in Italy might play a part in his options. However, if the radiator needs to be shipped from another country anyway, the CSF from 928 International in the US is the most reliable aftermarket unit we've seen so far. They ship these all over the world for folks, no worry, and the fit is perfect.

Thanks for the hint guys; unfortunately F&D's would add up to 35-40% on the purchase price if I buy from a US source. This one is in UK, still (for a short while...) part of EC and no duties + VAT included.

how do you feel about using a non-Porsche radiator?
there are thousands of radiator designs of varying sizes out there for "other cars" that are probably a pretty close fit to the 928 frame and cooling requirements.

928 rad is what, 24"x17" core (600x450mm)?
ask your parts sources for a radiator for a ~2005 Volvo S60, non-turbo 5 cylinder...should be about perfect size but youll need to trim the side brackets off.

or aftermarket...could give this one a shot.

A lot of the UK 928 group use the Radtec and I have not heard of any issues with it.
