Great! 2 vegas dates! I will round up the locals.

...and a tentative date for Sharktoberfest II...very cool

and the dates for SITM have moved to JUNE! Great...I guess Dave and Jeanie are in search of better/warmer weather!

I wish i had a schedule like that.

Its not too bad. Ive just put on pads and changed fluids for over 2 full seasons with 3 pro races as well. (and tires, but they have been free too!!) Nothing has gone wrong, except for a defective water pump from the original set up. NOTHING. (knock on wood !)

cant beat the 928 for the track!!! (just dont talk to Don H though)

a good indication of what a pretty good set up 928 (stock) can do at VIR, is look at the Speed Touring World challenge times there last season 2002. on their street tires, im usually about 1-4 seconds faster than their fastest times, on hoosiers. (depending on the track) if you can get within a second or two of their best times, you are doing ok! (on DOT hoosiers or equiv) . add 3-4 seconds if you use street tires

Honestly? I'd rather circle a track on a motorcycle. Doing an even dozen track days this year at VIR, Barber, Summit, Road Atlanta. Anyone know what the lap times are for a 928 at SP's main course? Or VIR North and South?

I prefer to drive the 928 cross country, wading thru the traffic like a shark in a school of tuna. The maintenance to run on the street is a strain, can't imagine what you have to go thru to put a 928 on a racing grid.

This is the list I present to my wife. By the time she's done with me I'll be down to about 2/3's of it if I'm lucky. She has her own wish list so it's all about negotiations and comprimise.

I believe the less than perfect weather of the last 3 years has facilitated the date change.

I didn't run with the pact on the BRP however I did clock in a 148mph on the GPS on my way back from SITM.

I plan to keep the speed on the track this year. Mainly sticking to autocrossing and track weekends at the 3 tracks here in Michigan.

So, it looks like Laguna Seca, PCA National could be a record for the number of 928s entered in the race!!! .

Where is Marc Tomas. he is a local, touting the new 550hp monster. will he be out there with US???????????????? he better. racing and lap times talk, B.S. runs the marathon!!

sign up by jan 30th!!!!!!!

Looks like so far:
Mark Kibort'
Don Hanson;
Mark Anderson
Joseph Fan
Scot Graham
Marc Tomas (possible)

thats 6cars of 928s!!!!!, close to 15% of the total projected field!!
