Default For sale: Tech-Art Rear Muffler Bypass 87->

Would anyone be interested in this super rare Porsche part numbered Tech-Art RMB? 928.310.840.200. When I google the part no, the only thing I find is my own posts/threads/pics about it.

Very nice condition. I need $500 + shipping to part with it.

(black marks on right wing is just grease/residue)

So, were these sold by Porsche? Is this why they have a Porsche part number?

Not sure about diameter, I assume you mean the outlet side. The two connetions are standard 928 S4/GT/GTS dimensions. Resonator has a dent yes, but don't worry about that. It mounted is on my car

I don't want to speak out of turn, but I am 99% sure he is just selling the TechArt TIP, or later know as an RMB (rear Muffler Bypass). The other stock exhaust parts in the later pic is to illustrate the fitment with the factory exhaust.

BUT, I have been wrong before :-)

Cheers,

Dave

I have one as well in my stash but not for sale.
GLWTS and that is a great price for a piece of 928 history.

No, not sold by Porsche and that is not a Porsche part number. It was a number created by TechArt, It is done all the time by custom part manufacturers, done it myself a few times.

Hopefully this will save a lot of calls asking if they can order it thru Porsche with that part number, we have already had a few calls about this.

Cheers,

Dave

The reference is really close to the one I have observed on another RMB officially sold by Porsche, and nearly identical: 928 310 840 09

Hi! Is this exhaust / RMB still for sale, and could you tell me if it's CA (CARB) legal?
