Default Cleaning out the spare parts bin

I'm starting to clean out my spare parts locker (which I refer to as "The Little 4th") to make some more room. Going the E-Bay route but would be happy to end the auctions for any listers if the offer is reasonable. There will be some big items available soon (seats and door panels, etc.). One item will be a newly painted black front bumper cover for a 928S. It's in perfect condition.

For starters see:

Regards,
JE

The A/C expansion valve looks OEM or aftermarket. Description implies Porsche replacement part. Where did you purchase it?

It's OEM. I bought 3 New Old Stock from Ian's Europarts off Ebay before Then I realized that I only need one, and needed two of the older EV's for my 83's. The valve is identical to two used ones I pulled from the A/C units from a 1987 S4 (which is the same for all 928 MY 86 - 95 applications). Has the same company logo. I'll post a picture of the two together if you'd like.

I need a black rear hub cover that goes on the back of the steering wheel. You wouldn't happen to have one, would you? Or anyone else? The black leather rear seats I bought from you last year still look great, btw.

Hmmmmmm.......since I have a couple extra black steering wheels (long story), I'm sure I have that. I think I have them stashed away at my parents house. You are talking about the black rubber cover that goes up the back covering the crush cage on the steering wheel? I rather just sell the whole SW though.

JE

Yep. That's it. When I pulled the cover off to re-wrap the steering wheel, two of the mounting points had been broken and repaired previously. I pulled the old "Honey, could you show me how to do this?" and my wife did a wonderful job stitching on the new leather. So I don't need the the whole wheel unless, .........the price is right.

Without the backing the entire wheel isn't worth much. The leather is in fantastic shape as I recall, but the stiching is coming undone. $35.00 for the whole shebang sound fair? I'll get pictures if you want.

JE

JE,

Would you happen to have any S4 parts, specifically the front spoiler?

John, your PM box is full. $35.00 is more than fair. Let me know what form of payment you prefer, and the amount needed for shipping. Thanks, I really appreciate it.

Hey JE
My '79 needs a warning box. 928 intl's web site says '79 to'83 are the same but your ebay ad says yours is '83 only. Do you know something they don't?
Thanks,
Karl

Karl - what do you mean by 'warning box'? I may have one off of my '79 EURO project car.
