Chris, sorry to hear!! prayers that they get the infection under control! I have a friend who went thru similar issue with a hip replacement. Make sure you tell the hotel so they can get you a room on the back side of the hotel, ground floor so you can put out a lawn chair and relax! I look forward to seeing you at SITM!

Hi Chris,

I am so sorry to hear about this, you know Jeannie and I will be sending positive vibes your way for a speedy recovery. We both know (and any one that knows you) that you are as tough as an OX, and can battle any issue that comes your way. You know how much we want to see you at SITM, but PLEASE don't jeopardize your health to come up and see us. You know us, as we have done it before, we can always stop by and check on you and spend some time together. Yeah I know that is not the same as going to SITM, I just want you to get healthy again as soon as possible.

I know you know how much we love you and care about you and always can't wait to see you again, but if coming to SITM is going to make your health situation worse please don't do it. If you wont do it for your self, then consider how much guilt it would place on us if doing so worsened your condition. At least discuss the trip with your Doctors, hopefully since you are so close and it is a short trip they will be OK with it.

Love you dude,

Dave

Hi Larry,

You know we always say you don't have to bring a 928 to come to our event, but when your wife is as sweet and lovely as Joann we may need to change the "rules" that you MUST bring your wife. :-)
We are glad you are coming as it is always a true pleasure to see and talk with you, but we will miss having Joann there. Please tell her she will be missed and hopefully she can make it next year.

See ya soon,

Dave

Little nervous. I just got my 928 back from a pretty intensive service - hoses, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulators, and a few other odds and ins.

Just hoping I can find time for a few shake down runs to make sure she can make the 1200 mile or so round trip from Central Florida.

Moving slower than I'd like on the Intake Refresh. Got a nice promotion at work and for the next couple of weeks will be doing two jobs. Three if you count midnight 928 mechanic. Oh well, she'll be together by SITM

New Camshaft End Seals and Arms, Fuel Injector Connectors re-wired for Ford injectors, New Knock Sensors in, New Crank Position Sensor in, New Front Damper mounted, Lower Throttle Body ready to go....

Multiple boxes of new Norma clamps and a variety of Stainless Hardware.

Lots to do still. Just catchin' it when I can. See you (hopefully in a 928) in Banner Elk!
