That must be Greg's part. I worked with ATI a good long while and sent them a couple cranks too so we could get the fitment of our harmonic balancer hub identical to the fitment of the stock balancer. Tight fit, true, but no heat needed. I didn't want customers to have to apply heat to get it off later, and damage their timing belt or plastic timing belt cover that's right behind it.

It could also be a tight crank nose - we've seen some. During the manufacturing of the crank, Porsche would have called out a spec like "plus or minus .0005 mm" for the OD. Like-wise, ATI had a manufacturing spec of "plus or minus .003" (example only) to hold on the ID of that hub. You might be just unlucky and be experiencing what engineers call "stacked tolerances". Your crank being at the limits of its allowable OD and the hub being at the limits of its ID. It happens. Polish the nose of your crank with a Skotch Brite pad and try again.

I did not mean to suggest I had a spare hub in stock. I only have complete harmonic dampers of our design in stock, and they include the hub.
I'm sorry, I cannot really split this kit, and even if I did I cannot be sure our hub fits your dampener.

Maybe the scatt stroker is too large. Do you have a stock crank? What is the OD of the snout? I can measure a stock crank when I get home.
