Man,

I love to part that thing out for my 1980, seeing mine is a 5 speed. Unbelievable interior. Reserve is probably too high for me.

They cleaned it up nicely, except the engine which is kind od mind-boggling. The seats look as if the inserts were carefully and properly replaced, but they don't look stock to me, which would be a shame ... since I don't own OBs I may be wrong there. Price is definitely right and this is a gorgeous car. If it were anything but black I would be bidding on it.

The seats do look like they have been redone. Overall, it looks very well taken care of.

This guy has some 'questionable' cars for sale.

Check out the yellow NSX on Ebay.

He recently listed an Esprit of dubious history. There was some heated discussion of his business antics on the Esprit list. Seems he sold the same parts 3-4 times.

Really nice looking car. I agree something looks wrong with the front seats. They're too "puffy". Probably comfortable though.

Seats are off. They should look like this. This is my interior.

It looks like the right reuplostery kit, but the sections arent pillowed off like the original seats.

I need to redo mine as the pillowing is comming undone on the seat bottoms.

Does anyone know if the leather kits have the section presewn to give that pillowing like the origninals.

Heinrich

Thanks! I Leatherique rejuventor oil and pristine clean on the seats and dash twice a year and keep it covered always. I use Vinylex on the headliner, rear quartpanels and doors to keep those clean.

Yep - seats are not original, and the right rear seat has a tear. Dash is cracked. Otherwise it's pretty darn clean!

John: Your interior is beautiful! I like the cork color - it is unique, and has more warmth to it than most other tan leather interiors we see. What is the exterior color of your car?

Thanks Nicole!

The exterior is Midnight Blue Metallic. Its not the original color.

The contrast is stunning. When i start shopping for a Boxster, Midnight Blue with tan interior will be my first choice for interior. I've seen a few on Ebay in this combo.

The 810 part of the VIN/chassis number indicates it is a ROW car which is also indicated by the lack of rear side reflectors. It appears to be a grey/grey market car which may cause problems registering it in some states.

7K for an 80 is too steep He doesn't sell many 928s as he says. I guess there's a reason for that... Ruf

Clean car but from experience, that black interior sure gets hot.

So, what WAS the original color? Did they do the whole job (including door jambs, etc, or just an outside spray job?
