IIRC Accel is owned by Holley and is pretty well known in the american muscle world. I have their 8.8mm plug wires on the SB350 in my 70 K10 truck.. I checked their website and searched for the part number and it doesn't show up.

As others have said, most likely a Chinese knock off as Holley typically makes decent stuff. Heck, they might not even know it's out there as eBay has a huge problem with counterfeit products.

Oh my, no doubt!! What a piece, compared to the other. Wonder if it really is a "knockoff" of the Accel branded parts? Who actually "made" that part?

Also, on a somewhat related note, in the past, many Accel parts were repackaged. For example, on an 3rd gen F-Body, the Accel Fuel Filter is actually a Fram filter in Accel packaging. Cross referenced the part number, and the next time, bought the Fram fuel filter for 1/2 price (of the Accel).

it looks like an option for those on a tight budget.

The part number on that package is not on Holley's sub-page for Accel. More than likely a Chinese counterfeit.

Did anyone else note that the item for sale was 'discontinued'? I think I did, but I've been drinking, so.....

also mentioned special pricing for a "lot" sale and clearly states not to order if it LOOKS different from what you have !! And NOT to give negative feed back

Avoid this cap at all costs. Thing might as well be a butt plug for 8 rodents and not a quality ignition component.
