I think the rears look good but something is not quite right with the fronts. Maybe the car needs to settle or there just isn't enough front tire? Not sure...
I went I look at the car it reminds me of a skateboard...

Kudos for the effort, but not to my tastes. They look more like a modern Lambo wheel, and seem out of place on the 928. Too aggressive on the holes, and too flat on the center surface. That's just my $.02 though which is worth about that much. Anywway, I am happy to see folks continuously come up with mods and improvements for our cars.

Truthfully, I've never been a fan of 18" wheels on any 928. They look too modern for my tastes and something visually strange happens between the wheel arcs and the fender arcs. (Plus that, the ride quality deteriorates something fierce, with the slightly shorter side wall.)

Put this effort into a 17" wheel, which will naturally reduce the size of the openings and put the dimensions closer to the proportions of the 16" wheel, and you probably end up with the "perfect" 928 wheel, in my opinion.

That being said. these look way better than any other 18" wheels I've seen, once mounted and installed on a 928.......Way, way better!
[The front end of your '86 is bound to come down, once you bounce it around (drive it), and that will help a bunch.]

Fantastic effort, Joseph!

Hook me up with your machinist and I'll have him build me some 17 inch wheels to compare.

The look is somewhere between a 928 15 inch phone dial and a 16 inch phone dial...... the beauty off the 16 is the extra curves and detail around the lug area. Which is why chromed 16s look awesome reflecting lights at night. But good job Joseph bringing back a classic style with modern brakes and tires..

What size tires are they and what is the front offset?
