Interesting Features Not Mentioned in the Owner's Manual
I just discovered this feature this weekend when installing a car seat for my son. There is a little rectangular pocket on the side of each of the rear seats whose purpose is to hold the seat belt buckle when not in use. Neat little feature.
I was curious if this was mentioned in the owner's manual and it isn't. That got me to thinking what other features are not mentioned? Please post any that you know of.

I have always been impressed by the feature of the lids on the armrest pockets which are actually the armrests themselves and which don't hinge upward like one might expect to provide access to the pocket beneath them, but rather articulate upward and inward, staying level, then closer to the driver and passenger for better usage by either of them. I can't find anything in the Owner's Manuals about this feature either.

I believe our cars have 3550 # tow rating. This means I could tow my Airstream. Most likely need bigger mirrors. Next time you have the pod off you well see the indicator and it has two arrows.

With the pod out you can also see the [SERVO @] power steering pressure failure light on '85-'88 gauges (which was never implemented).

Huh how 'bout that. My gauges are slightly different and that light definitely does not light up with the initial turn of the key. I'll have to see if it is there when I next pull the cluster.
This looks very similar to the turn indicator above it, which BTW, is poorly thought out in that it is one bulb that lights up both arrows regardless if you are signally right or left. Small nit pick, but it'd be nice if only the left arrow lit up when signaling left and the right when signaling right and both when using the hazard. Or is that is how it is supposed to work and I have something wrong with mine?

I told him that if he needed the arrow to tell him which way he was turning, I was getting out.

I noticed on my wife's Cayenne (after our 18 month old was 'driving' it in the driveway) an old trick the 928 has; when you park the car and have the turn signal stalk down/up, the car will illuminate the lights on the side of the car (the blinkers) which the lever is angled towards. In the spirit of this thread, I haven't read the manual in ages so I'd guess it's mentioned, but this thread and my daughter's shenanigans reminded me of the old trick my Dad showed me back when. I always thought it was the coolest feature when I was a kid,but forgot about it until the other night.
