I'd say for now the smart move is to put all enhancement ideas into a "future thoughts" folder to return to later. Bring it back first - lots to do there! Best to get it to a drive-able, decent looking state before considering any other major investments of time & $$$. That way you know your new investment is worthwhile and you get a drive-able car sooner. Its possible you may find something on the way that will change your mind on the car (e.g. engine shot -> making this just a parts car for another 928 project?).

We've had a few people who have taken on a big project - added complexity to it - and failed to ever get anything completed. A good way to take a $1000 project invest another $5000 and ultimately still have to pay someone to haul away the heap of parts at the end of the day.

Lots to do here already...
