Sway bar/control arm question

What do you mean by cup for the bushings?
Are you referring to the boss for the drop link that is sandwiched/secured by two pillow bushings on each arm? If so, then any '85/'86 aluminum control arm has that boss cast in.

You can always mill the inner diameter of the rubber bushing blocks to accept the larger end pins of the sway bar. I did that to fit a 25.5mm bar on my '83. I think I used a step drill.

If you decide to go this route, let me know. Might have another set of early arms in my spares bin. Straight...although, they would undoubtedly benefit from a Rennbay ball joint replacement kit.
