tis merely a flesh wound, that curb monster got away! you should have killed him! I killed a huge curb monster a couple years ago, I learned to quit driving on bald tires! The front plowed right out; live and learn.

2 days ago my boss totaled his LHS on a curb...
Turned in the parking lot too early, curb pushed the radiator into the engine, car is no longer running... What is funny however, is that the air bags did not go off when he hit the curb, but did when the rear wheels went over the curb, so he said "Damn airbags didn't go off soon enough, so I hit my face on the steering wheel before the airbag hit me in the face"
I did laugh lol...
At least yours is minor

Sorry to see that! It doesnt look that bad, looks like the curb monster just took a nibble!
Looks like it time to take those wheel weights off the OUTSIDE of the wheel and refinish the whole set Thats what im gonna do in about a month...

oh oh...unsightly rust stains too.

One reason I like my Bridgestone 730s is the side wall extends past the rim.

There are many tires that specifically have curb protection, theres a part of the tire that extends enough to give you scratch free rims, the PO had had the mounted on my car, though my tires are in dyer need of a changing, that sidewall protection is really nice, and you cant notice it unless you look for it. Any expensive good tire has em i think. SO-3's have it I believe, the pilot sport too. Oh well, I geuss your just have to buy a set of Fikse's huh?

Whack the curb a few more times. Better excuse to have all the wheels bruised.
