Default FS Feeler - 64k mile '86 951 short block

Want to throw this out there in case anybody is looking...

I picked up a 64k mile short block from an '86 951 last year.
My intention was to cut valve reliefs in the pistons for a 4v head and tap the block to use the later style "automatic" belt tensioner. However I don't know if my life schedule is going to allow any sort of "heavy duty" engine playtime like that any time soon.

Everything is in good shape. Cylinder walls look great. I wasn't even going to touch the piston rings or main bearings - just rod bearings and go.

So...if someone out there has a better use for this thing than I do at the moment I would be inclined to sell it for the right price.

Engine is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, pickup is preferred but local "meet up" can be arranged. I can help with shipping if needed.

I'd like to ask $1000 for the short block. Let me know...pictures upon request.
