Headlights.
My 4x6" Hella European non sealed beam lights with relay harness upgrade & 100/80 watt bulbs have been good enough for these tires old eyes when I ran without pop ups.
But I want to update the look a bit, hopefully without any compromise in brightness, so just popped the tag off these babies:

I almost gave up on the idea of hood vents, but then I remembered something my dad told me; "You weren't put on this earth to fail!"
I'm so pleased. One set of louvers on using heavy duty (paintable, water resistant) construction panel adhesive and lots of stainless rivets. Totally pumped with how it turned out so far!

I started thinking about what makes one of the fastest 944 turbo cars perform so well and what I could borrow from Patrick's technology and apply to Wilson.

Because Wilson is a street car I'm limited to how low I can drop the suspension and I know from experience the splitter I will run has to be very short. So I'm limited for devices to use for down force.
It's logical to me that these would help air passing through the rad to convert to downforce rather than lift.
Additionally the cooling effect in between runs means I don't need to lift the hood.
And I enjoy the look. My favourite cars have some type of louvers.

Decided to run with the smaller vents on the front fender. Something feels like early corvette stingray to me. Love it.
Btw-under the hood doesn't look half bad. Will be painted of course.

Finally grabbed my best cat and headed out to the garage. It's been a tough couple of weeks but I ain't hurrying for no one... for nothing. I'm doing everything right this time.

In my pursuit of less lift I would like to build a rear diffuser. The back end of this car isn't so easy to do that with.

Un-pleased by the usual Headlight solution, something like this is better in my opinion.
It might be cool to fuse the hood & the nose panel together. also.

Like the early 924 widebody, and unlike every later model, I think I'll cut the nose panel for better road illumination.
