Default Fixed my clock today

I am getting through my punch list of things still broken in my 83 944. The analog clock hasn't worked in at least a dozen years. Thanks to the capacitor tip, it is working again and after 5 hours keeping perfect time to boot. I thought fellow 944 owners would appreciate the photo. (None of the family got it nor how I was so excited to have an old clock working again.)

Yeah it's gratifying to fix old clock gauges. Makes me feel like a swiss watch maker.

I seem to recall it's just a matter of opening up the clock (which is the same basic pain in the *** as opening the speedometer) and replacing a handful of electrolytic capacitors that fail over time.

You are a better man then me, I fixed my non working gauge issue by replacing the clock with voltmeter.
But at least I used I yellow faced Porsche voltmeter.

CVR: It pops up if one has MS Word; I'll try another format.

I do (Office365) but could be because I'm using OSX. Perhaps if I delete the HTML suffix it will work.
