What is the advantage of the two piece (waste gate flange) exhaust crossover pipe over the '86 with the typical one piece?

I appreciate the offer, but it doesn't answer my question. Please elaborate before I get too excited.

Pretty sure they made the change to reduce the time on the clutch job - i.e. removing the bell housing without having to pull the intake/turbo to take out crossover. Im sure it has other benefits as well. If things are apart no reason not to put one in IMHO.

Sam is right. I was an update to make the clutch job only 12 hours instead of 16 hours! (only a slight exaggeration there...)
