Default DME Redline Question

On non turbo 944s, what is the method of limiting rpms from climbing?
Is it injector cut out or spark cut out?

Thank you,

N

-Second Q:
What is the system fuel psi (in rail)?

Factory used fuel cut like most OEM limiters. Fuel pressure is whatever your Fuel pressure regulator is set to. The factory part is 2.5 BAR, which is ~37 psi at idle, at sea level. This is the same rev limiter and fuel pressure as a 951.
