I am dying to see how well that fiberwerks rear bumber would look with the 951 rear valance on the back end of a certain black 951 with 968 mirrors and the 968 bridge spoiler... any photoshop experts in "da haus"?

Did you use a filler like bondo, or fiberglass? Does the fiberworks kit use the stock bumper and shocks to mount to? Also, I like the way it looks, especially the "one piece" way, but I wonder if there is a way to keep the rubber bump pads...

Body shop did all the work. They layered in fiberglass on the front and back for strength.. no bondo, it shrinks over time. The bumpers come with mounts glassed in and use the existing holes/ In the back you have to fabricate a plate to connect the mounts to the existing shock mounts.
The bumper shocks are gone and would stick 2" beyond these bumpers. I have heard of people using rubber blocks as bumper shock replacements just for some added safety, but fiberglass is going to crack in a slow MPH collision. So you would only be adding some pounds and gaining minor protection.. still might look into it. I haven't measured, but I would guess these bumpers shorten the car by 4 inches (+/-).
I would think the rubber bumpers would defeat the idea of the clean lines. You would have to modify the bumper pads since they have one edge fits into "notch" on the original bumpers.
