That's a joke, right?
Funny sense of humor on the 944 forum.

Well, since it did not fit. I mean, at least the hose connectors are (mostly) the same. :/
You can put it in with zip ties in a lot less time but if you do it right and make a new bracket, etc.

At shop rates local to me that would be a $4,500.00 radiator install job. Seems legit.
Well, hourly rates are lower here, but still amounts to ~450 euros. Like I said, go with OE radiators. Or shove this in somehow that works for you.

I think next time I need work done, it would be cheaper for me to ship my car to Europe and have your boys do it than have anyone here even look at it!

I had a fitment issue with the thermo switch. If you notice on the OEM radiator, the mounting bung is slightly offset. Not so with the aftermarket unit. Had to modify the fan shroud to get it to fit. Also, swapping the speed nuts for the fan shrouds didn't work well.

944online.com but you can find them from ebay sellers also. But they have seemed to go up in price since I bought earlier this year. 944online has them for ~$360.

Pelican had Modine (L&R) for $299

Modine is a good unit. Been making radiators longer than Porsche has been in business.

What's with the skyrocketing price on 944 radiators? Should have bought a bunch as an investment....
Maybe when the Chinese ones start to fit the OEM's will come down....

OE is expensive, but it did last a LONG time. If you buy another it'll likely be the last one you ever buy for the car. Not likely with an aftermarket unit.
