Default Likelihood of developing lung problems from breathing in fuel daily?

Giving my daily driver to my daughter and thinking of using my track car as a daily driver.
The track car has no interior to keep the gas fumes out of the cabin.
I'd been taking the car out once a week for an evening drive around the beltway and so breathing in the fumes I imagine aren't that bad.
However, breathing these gas fumes in a daily basis to/fr work and to/fr practice etc concerns me.
Has anyone else researched this and should I limit the use of this car (no DD)...?

I would think a car with this issue wouldn't be suitable on a track, much less as a daily driver. Make sure it's in proper tune, and all vapor controls are in place before driving the car at all.

If the fumes are that strong, I'd be more worried about getting so high that you crash the car.

Here's a link to an MSDS for Gasoline.

An MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is an industry standard document that lists all chemicals found in a product, and the hazards of each chemical. While it appears somewhat boring, you will find a significant amount of detail relating to the Toxicity of that product. For Gasoline, Benezene is of importance because it is a well known carcinogen. Enjoy!

Obviously, please fix the source of the leak.

Lets hope it's as easy as mounting a charcoal canister filter for the gases to escape through... It might be more complicated than that, but that is the best place to start Mr. Quickie. I've had this problem with my early 924 and it took a lot of work to sort out. Make sure your Gas tank vent out is attached to the "IN" side of charcoal canister... some nut case reversed them on the 924.
