Fake, yes, but definitely potential for greatness (fake greatness, at least)...

The Carfax is clean, 149,555 last recorded mileage in 1995. It comes up as a 1982 924 Turbo.

Man, that thing is a mess. Check out the spray painted wheels. And it looks like stuff is torn up under the hood.

Tabo,

Thats what I was thinking, sure its not a finished car, thats why its a project, give that thing a few months of hard work and TLC and a paint job that thing could be a gem.....

I'd love to see a rennlister pick that up so I could see the progress

Somebody rescue this gem!!! Those wheels are $$$$ if one can restore them to the original shape!!!
Even as a parts car this 924 has a lot off body add-ons hard to find in the US

i wish this car popped up when i was looking for my 44
Vlad.

p.s. looks like someone did a decent job on Cloning a 24 GT

Those are the people I bought an 86 N/A off of them and they refused to sell unless I gave them an extra $2350 (Black NA with salvage title and neeeds belt, clutch etc) for a total of $3500- I won the auction with no reserve for $1,105

-Mike

EDIT: You can see "my" NA in the background behind the 924

EDIT 2: I didnt give him the money
