I've always loved the M1. If I ever became rich, the first car I'd buy would be an M1. I'll probably get flamed for saying that here . Just keep in mind I come from a family with a long hisory of BMW cars, and I'm the defector.
my family's past cars:
1978 E12 528i
1985 E30 325e
1990 E32 750iL
1997 E36/7 Z3
currently:
1997 E36 328 (brother's)
1990 E30 M3 (mine)
and the 951 of course
I hope that's enough justification for my love of BMWs, don't blame me I was indoctrinated into it!

why are people goin so nuts over this ///M1... yes its a beautiful and very rare car, but there have been others on ebay before... there was one about 3 weeks ago... the only cool thing about this one is the fender flares... otherwise... eh?

There is one at the local BMW dealer here in Dallas if anyone is interested. It is kind of Orange/Red and IMHO not particularly special.
