Three Wheelin'
I have five Sport Seat by Recaro pairs, leather, in both Series one and two - 944s/ 951s. And a pair in cloth in an Audi 4000 "S" L.E. They conform and hold you tight thru any g-load.
Wish ALL my Porsches had them. The series two seating is a bit higher bolstered than the series one style, which for me (the 1s) are the most comfortable Porsche seats I have ever sat in.
Even more so than those in the newer GT3 RS
Once you have sat in a really good RECARO, everything else seems to fit like this ~

unless it's a full on race car, any of the "aftermarket racing seats" just look like **** and aren't very comfortable.
not to mention the 72-point BDSM harnesses...
street car...stick with the stock normal or sport seats.

I love the look of my late sport seats and the way they hold me. They are however a little to tight for me. I am getting used to them, but the non sport seats are much more comfortable, but don't provide the support.

My car originally had late confort seats ,most comfortable but they lack side support.
Then i changed to early sport seats and although i love the feel of them ,great bolsters and comfort, i absolutely hate the adjustability.
Now i have full leather late sport seats ,these are near perfect in every aspect , i love them.

Late sport seats here.
One concern of mine is the seat belt is bolted to the seat and not to the frame of the car.
An idea why Porsche designed it this way?

I'm lucky enough to have excellent OEM sport seats in my 911 , although the Cobra Sebring in my race car is super comfortable as well ... although i'm not sure i would drive cross country with it

My old 951 had sport seats which were nice and snug...my S2 has regular seats which are more comfortable. For the street I like the regular seats however if I get out on the track for a lapping session I will miss the extra support the sport seats.

I'm 6'3'' tall and 286 pounds , the tilt adjustment on the late seats makes a much more comfortable seating position for me and the backrest lever is very easy to use instead of the early seat **** that is almost impossible to get to with the door closed plus the late seat rails are much smoother.
