Default 924/931 fuel line replacement..the long ones :(

Disaster today
Took the S1 931 for a 4 wheel alignment using a modern system but the ****** there slipped a wrench from the nut and smacked the already crusty fuel lines...one of them cracked needles to say and now its dripping fuel above the rear torsion bar carrier
Good news is it now feels perfectly stable as i drove it home risking catching fire but it may all be in vain since i may need to drop everything to replace the fuel lines.
I'm in need of ideas of how to properly fix this and quick.
Can i replace the lines with everything in place? has anybody done it before?
If not...is there a fuel line repair kit like something i can cut the pipes with, collar and use a rubber connection to replace the broken bit?
Are there any ready made kits available i can buy perhaps?

It can be like a brake line repair with metal line and flare or compression fittings.

thats what i was thinking, but obviously the diameter of the fuel lines is larger from the brake ones and to make matters worse the lines are different from eachother.

I believe the fuel hardlines are available new from Porsche still, at a not-bad price.
Looking at the PET, I think this is PN...double check though.

Happened to mine in the same place. I cut out the damaged sections and bridged with rubber fuel hose and FI clamps. Fine 2 years later, but admittedly not ideal.

i'll go the route of replacing with propper flexi hooses and propper clips...just need to find where to order them.

Ideally you'd want to use a fuel-rated hose and swaged/threaded terminations.... I know Lindsey Racing sells metric compression fittings that adapt to -6AN but maybe you have local options. If you would rather clamp, you want the ones that look similar to what Porsche used for things like vacuum line and coolant hose clamps... NOT the worm-gear kind.

I ended up ordering some of this hoose to replace the broken section of the fuel line.

I also ordered some 8mm inner diameter of the same type of hoose just in case i need to replace a section of the return line as well. Got some apropriate clamps too.
Hopefully i can have this fixed next weekend.
