Default A simple suspension question (like there is such a thing, right?)

So...I've got this 968 Turbo Project that is finally looking like it is going to finish up. As the cars suspension components are bone stock, I've figured out I want to do something about while I still can.

To that - I've upgraded the sway bar assemblies to the 968 M030 sized components and sourced a pair of the front springs from the 968 Club Sport. Figured I'd stick in a set of Koni Sport Struts to finish off the front. For the rears - thought I'd go with the Koni Sport Rears, but then I got a hold of a set of M030 springs and the associated washer. To complete the rear I'm faced with the dilemma of either sourcing rear M030 shocks - or a suitable replacement if I want to use the helper springs.

So...the question is there a suitable replacement shock that can be used with the M030 Spring/washer assembly?

Kind of related is the impact on the ride height. Seems like I may have to re-index the torsion bars to compensate for the extra spring height...anyone experience this?

TIA-

Don't know if you need adjustable, but I have a pair of non-adjustable Koni rear shocks from a 1983 that you could have for free + shipping.

I think the lengths are about the same early vs late 944/968. You would need to:
1) drill the lower metal bushing to 14mm and check "offset" of the shock eye
2) cut a snap-ring groove into the shock body to support your coilover spring
3) send them to a Koni shop to be rebuilt. Koni can cut the ring groove.

Spencer, if he doesn't take them, I'd like them if that's ok.

Use shorter springs?

Thanks for the offer Spence, truly appreciate it. Think I'll take a step back and think on this some more.

Adjusting the torsion bars is easier than it's made out to be, FWIW.
