Default A $65,000 924?

Nice restoration.

Not a chance in hell there is anyone willing to pay that asking price...

Yea, seen this...madness
I'm the kind of guy who also likes to drive 924s so for me it does not matter if engine bay bracketry is not freshly recovered with Zinc
Nevertheless 924s are very nice cars(at least in ROW trim and performance) and i'd love to own an original NA.

The picture with all the parts laid out is so cool! I couldn't pay that for a 924 but with Porsche prices the way they are he might find someone. I never thought 80's 911's would be so crazy. Even last generation 928's are commanding 6 figures! Definitely some crazy times we leave in right now in the Porsche community...

It is obviously NOT for sale, but presented as such to give the forums something to talk about after reading about it in a magazine.
For display.

Of the 908.3 hours, how many were devoted to the pictorial arrangement of the parts in 'exploded form' ?

I would have to take that 60,000 and apply it towards a 924 I would really want. A Carrera GT, GTS, or GTR.

this will never sell at that ask price, but I commend him on his intestinal fortitude and perseverance

One man's trash is another's treasure. I think it's awesome and hope they get every penny.

And to think, I could have bought the fully restored (by Brumos Porsche) 924 that was in the Brumos Museum for around $3,500. And it was concours too.
