Default Tune up parts- where to buy?

Hopfully getting my S2 out of storage in the next two weeks and thinking of doing a basic tune up while I have it up on stands when I change the brake sensors...just wondering if anyone has personal experience with companies and packages? Canadian dealer would be the best due to our dollar but i would also compair American companies with good quality packages. I am also going to check the dealer.

I am looking to do plugs/ wires / cap and rotor, air filter and fuel filter.

Belt/water pump front seals are 1 year old..timing chain tensioner pads are 2 years old...is there any other maintained item I should look into?

I had looked at pelican and quickly at Lindsay but I was not able to find a kit that had everything I needed..

I should at I would also concider ignition wires and a coil wire.

I will look deeper into Lindsey soon and see if I missed something

pelican parts is great, too.
Have you thought about sending your injectors to be refurbished? That can be huge.

Paragon stocks packaged kits, and I've had nothing but good transactions with them. Pelican has also been good to me, too. Not sure if they sell packaged kits, but I'm sure they sell all the individual parts at least.

I would definitely at least replace the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and air filter, and it wouldn't hurt to at least re-seal the injectors if you don't have them rebuilt.

Want to add or subtract from that kit? No problem, just let me know and we'll build it how you like it.

Unfortunately, we do not have ignition kits for the 944 yet. We are working on kits for routine maintenance items for all makes that we offer parts for, but have yet to get them put together for the 944. However, for the time being, you can definitely purchase them separately as most basic maintenance items are easy to find under our "Basic Maintenance" section here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...aintenance.htm.

If you ever need anything in the future and want us to put a list of basic maintenance items together for you, so that you don't have to, you can always shoot me a PM and I'd be more than happy to do this for you. I am here to help. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

http://www.allzim.com/ seems to be a lesser known option. When I was a total beginner with the 944, they answered all my questions on the phone and delivered great parts. They sent me a whole water pump / belts kit as well as front engine seals.
