Default Paint Choices

Hey guys going to paint my 951 and would like either a nice blue or orange something bright. I don't care much for the pastel orange or really even the gt3 orange for some reason they look a little faded in sunlight to me. Any who I am open to options but these were the ones I was thinking. Thanks!

I used to have a '72 beetle that was orange, but I don't know if was more continental or gulf. Those would be my top choices, hard to tell the difference though. From those 4 choices I would choose the darkest orange.

Of your pole colors, I go with Continental Orange

But most of those have been, how about something new: Nordic Gold

I love the blood orange on this GT2:

Awesome combination with the grey centered Speedline RS wheels.

If you want to go with an eye catching blue, the factory color Tuerkis (turquoise) Blue on these cars is amazing:

I can't find this color in any of the Porsche books I own, although the color LM5M seems original and it's on the sticker in the trunk and service guide.
Has anyone else on this forum the same color?
I haven't seen it before....

ya that was one of my options in my mind as well cant decided between orange or blue. I like orange a lot but you can't go wrong with blue. The wife would like either but probably blue more. Here's a 944 in continental orange... I wonder what orange this one with black wheels is?

My vote is either factory tuerkis blue or factory nautic metallic blue. The nautic is a little more subdued, but I'm a bit biased (I own a Nautic 951)

I love the Jager 951, mostly because of it's color! I'd paint my car like that (minus the Jager stuff) in a second if I could afford to.

Go Blue. Here is my 86 in Copenhagen Blue. Almost looks black in dimmer light and beautiful dark blue in daylight. Paint is original and not in particularly great condition here but still looks great.

Nautic (Ocean) Blue Metallic has my vote! Course, that's my color as well. However, I'm going to respray it "Sapphire Metallic Blue", mainly cause that's what's closest to the original color in the paint a I want to use. Mine should come out just a tad darker than the one Doug posted above me. I'm not a fan of orange except on mopar! LOL
