Since then the car's been laid up as my workload has been too extensive and I've just had a weeks holiday away ....

I put my Road Tyre set on, Michelin Pilot Sports 30psi / 28psi Front//Rear and had approx. 3 hours to sample the balance for the first time...

Which is just as balanced as anything I've ever had & Driven..

The 20 piston Wilwood 6 & 4pots are beyond effortless and no modern road car can get anywhere near such a light car with such stoppers!

It sits @ 80mph is 3000rpm real nicely in 5th gear, and 80 - 100mph feels like it only takes 3 seconds!! then the Lexan rear window is shaking and pressing inwards so bad I have to back off!

Is there some significance to painting the instrument surrounds yellow and red or did some 17 years olds break in and "customize"?

Just read over the posts about that injector calculator, you guys are right. There must be some error in their script.

Hats off to squeezing the stock injectors for every cc/min they can push!

Hi,

The objective was to find a 16" set of wheels which were the same weight or very close to the original 6x15" teledials...

These are Porsche 16" Cups modified, machined and lightened with lightweight Michelin PS3 Tyres also a relatively skinny size 205/55/16 size..(Front & Rear)

The end result was these are only 500 grams more than each wheel & tyre than the stock 15" wheels.

The process and illustrations are on the website wheel section:

Thanks, It was a quick solution to keeping some Heat away from the cone Filter before the Rolling Road day, knocked up with some specific Heat shielding from

www.zircotec.com

It has a cold air feed from the right hand front 924 turbo Vent, and for now it'll do.

I'm reluctant to change it or make it more neater as the Rolling Road figures and tune have all been done with this set up..

No Worries, Squeezing is a very good word to describe the 10 hours of work to get the whole rev range, Idle and throttle response as good as it is..

It's so nice to not have to mess about with it and make changes and / or sort out any flat spots and niggles etc..

Having had more time in the saddle yesterday I'm beginning to feel more what characteristics all the modifications are producing in real time on the road, I def think the lighter knife edge crank and aluminium fly have a great effect on acceleration pick up, for a big 4 cylinder it's very smooth and instantaneous, and does for sure decelerate quicker than a normal road car when you lift off the gas.
