Hello
any idea how to adjust the 968 rear hatch properly?
It does not open when I push the button in the car. I have to go out and push it up with my hands!!!
It seems that the two pins are sticking somehow in the holes and do not move free.
also I try to get the 968 rear spoiler off the hatch but the screws just turns and turn free without coming out?
anything special there. I talk abou the two screws tha are holding the two side parts of the rear spoiler.

rear pins are out of alignment. look at the mating surface to determine which pin(S) is out. does it open properly?? this can be a hint.

the right one make problems. After I adjust the whole hatch on the top mounting bolts the right was ok but the left was not!!
now the hatch opens and close ok BUT it does not open by it self!!!
I must say I just replaced teh whole hatch with one from the 968.
I plan to put the 968 Turbo Rs wing tomorow and go to the track the day after!!!

OK. The latches have two nuts each holding them in alignment.
You have to loosen the latches and let them recenter.
Might have to lay in the cargo area to do this.
I've had to put 1/16" spacers under the hinges on a replacement hatch to get it to fit.

My hatch wouldn't go up by itself until I put in new (i.e. strong) hatch struts (i.e. those little shock absorber type supports). Now the hatch goes up as soon as the release button is activated.

Konstantin,
there are two type of "screws" available. The new design has a hole for a screwdriver. This type is much easier to adjust. Usually the problem is in the locking mechanism, which does not release the "screw", pin or what ever it is called properly.I had a similar problem with my 951.Just remove the locking unit clean & lubricate it, then adjust "screw".

hello
I solved the problem. you have to unbolt the small spoiler. Tthere is a hole there on the 968 spoiler. you can counterhold the nut and unbolt the philips screw.
I finally put the 968 Turbo RS /S spoiler on the car it looks good but it need some good paint job. I just sprayed with a can so that I can use it this week till I will paint it right
Konstantin
BTW it is much easier to install the 968 Turbo RS wing than the stock 968 wing
