Do these bulbs actually have high/low beams or is it just a single beam bulb that fits the H4? Many of the HID and LED conversions I've seen don't have the high beam.

IMHO the best H6024 7" pop up conversion iz still a standard 65w/100w H4 bulb with a seperate relay and upgraded harness. If you wish to get away from the pop up lights, there ARE better options like 46w 4x6"LED,s that can be used with GTS style headlights. 4x6" 46w LED also fit perfrctly into the fog light spot on a 951 bumper, though for NA cars 100w H3's are still best.

These are 6400 lumens output combined on high beam (they ARE hi/low) which is RIDICULOUSLY bright.

They are the same size as a standard H4651 headlight, roughly 6.5x4.17" and they'll fit behind standard GTS style clear lenses.

Running Hella e-codes on my car, on dedicated relays. Just as usable at night as any other car, lower load on the headlight switch (more of a problem in the early cars, from what I understand).

I've spent SEVERAL times the purchase cost in modifying/maintaining the car but that isn't the point! I'm not trying to argue with you, just stating that again, most of these cars here are barely worth more than those lights and IMHO spending 1k dollars on performance mods isn't the same as spending 1k on lighting. They sure do seem nice though.
I agree with you! No hard feelings here either, just saying they might be a better investment on a perfect 944 over one that isn't running properly and needs new everything (95% of them unfortunately)

I was thinking about trying these as fog lights on my 951 to replace the 100w H3's I've got in there now.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/400907354664?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Or maybe one of these behind the bumper

http://www.ebay.com/itm/17Inch-108W-...hVL3~v&vxp=mtr

I eventually want to do all LED on that car, simply because its not truly a road car anymore in the normal sense and LED's offer the best performance, period. I would be worried about it being TOO bright on a DD with the lighting setup I have planned for that car. 178W of LED power up front is a whole hell of a lot bright than even 400W of halogen bulb.

65W Hella E-code H4's and 65W H3 foglights are what my NA gets.

Spencer is that a 2x36 watt setup? I know EXACTLY how bright they are, pictures don't do LED's justice. Did you see the link I posted to that 108w light bar? I wasnt kidding about putting that behind my bumper...It's over 7k lumens, WAY too bright for normal street use IMHO. My dream setup is 2x42w LED fogs + that 108w LED light bar + 2x46W LED 4x6 headlights. Combined that should be almost 19k lumens which should light up the road like broad daylight for a couple hundred feet. It's be the perfect late night back road setup.

BTW for anyone who doesnt understand how ******* bright 20k lumens, is....

It'll put a huge bright spot on low laying clouds like it's a fricken spot light...

For comparison, a pair of healthy 100w/55w H4 on high beams puts out ONLY 5800 lumens and in a spectrum that humans eyes dont see as well in.

Agreed, it doesn't look at all like an H4 E-code low beam. If that's what it's supposed to be then the bulbs are badly designed.

yes i think they are 36w 8" bars.
i had intended to put these in the fog light spot originally and still may, but need to really figure a good way to mount them down there - they are pretty hefty for what they are. a strong mount would be required.

if you can find a way to mount it, you should be able to get a 40" bar behind the bottom two slots of the 951 bumper cover, which will make your car look like a close-encounters of the 3rd kind ship.

i have been working on putting halogen projectors in the fog lamp spot as well, just don't have a lot of time to mess with this stuff.

Spencer my 951 is currently 3 hours away, would you be so kind as to measure and post the dimensions of the 951 fog lights lens? I have some lighting solutions cooking both for 951/S2 cars and NA cars but I need 951 fog dims...
