Oil Pan Gasket Change
This is for anyone who has done this themselves. Need to know how high to jack up the car and where are the best places to place jackstands. Mine is a turbo so I am sure it will be different.

If you jack the car up about 18" you'll have room to work. Plan to change rod bearings and check the oil pickup tube for cracks. I just changed an oil pan gasket about a year back and, other than the exhaust/turbo stuff, the basics are the same. Have fun.

The higher you can get the car the better, 18+ inches minimum. I put the stands under the front frame rails.

To avoid delay....oil level sending unit gasket, copper crush washer set for the power steering rack, pickup tube rubber gasket, oil pan baffle and associated exhaust seals and hardware with the turbo exhaust.
If your feeling giddy...rod bearing shells and nuts, motor mounts, LR has a great deal on a welded pickup...
There are a few write ups but I used aluminum tape to hold the pan gasket flush to the edge of the pan and to secure the pan bolts instead of dental floss.

Be prepared and check the "oil pan baffle" for cracks, brittle bolt hole edges.
