Default Offset question

HI Guys, I was wondering what are the rims offset for the 86 turbo cars are they the early offset or the late offset?

If they are the early offset, what shall I require to do to put late offset wheels on an early offset car?

thank you

The 86 turbo is early offset. The stock wheels on the 86 have an offset of 23.3, whereas the later ones have an offset of 52.3. Therefore, if you want to put late offset wheels on an early offset car, you will also need 29mm bolt on spacers for them to sit out as far as a low offset wheel would. I'm not sure on the details, but I believe some models had a spacer from factory, so you might be able to find some oem ones.

Thanks for the confirmation, can one tell me the exact spacer size I would require front and back as well as bolt?

Shall I get those part from Pelican, paragon or can I find those parts at the like advance auto part?

That's a pretty big spacer so I wouldn't do it unless you have to, especially for a track car. Might be OK on the street but make sure the studs are long enough
