Question B&B Performance Exhaust

I'm just studying alot of performance options before I buy a 951.

So, I was looking around sites for a nice exhaust system, and I came across this:

http://www.performanceproducts.com/P...producttype=20

I was wondering how the B&B performance cat-back system was? Do any rennlist members have them? And how is the sound?

From what I've heard, they are pretty sweet, but also quite pricey.

Thanks for the info guys! I might as well buy it, but the question is if this full cat-back includes a downpipe and what not? Performance wise how is it?

Hello, I have a 2.5" B&B and it sound fantastic! This exhaust adds a deep rumble at idle. Around 2600rpm the growl starts to come audible...till about 3000rpm where it sounds great, especially when echoing off buildings, cement highway dividers, or even other cars . At 3100-3200 the sound mellows out for nice cruising. Above that as the rpm climbs the sound transforms from a growl to a symphonic howl, especially above 5000rpm. I highly recommend this setup or a SFR (no experience with), but hear nice things. I bought my exhaust at the Hershey PA 2002 swap meet, but have seen it for sale at Windward Performance for $650. I am always getting compliments on it...even from the rice burners!

Hope this helps!
Take Care!!

There are not too many cat-back options for the N/A guys. I know that we carry one and I guess B&B does along with Bursch.

We also have a new testpipe for the 944 and S2.It bolts to the stock headers and comes in two pieces. It uses a slip fit connection to join the two pieces so that you can put in a resonator or cat if you prefer. It is pretty cool and it is made out of stainless so it wont rust. They do not come polished but we can do it if you want.It bolts to any existing cat-back that utilizes the factory flange.

Tim, as soon as I get a 951 I'll give you a call Maybee you can help a college student out too.

The only reason I'm asking is because I have a friend who has the same exact exhaust upgrade as the site, but since he totaled his 951, I will be getting it for free.

I have the B&B on my car. With the large cam-it sounds great. It can be kind of "droaning" with the roof out, and the windows down. With the car shut, it's not that bad at all. Think of a V-8 with headers, and that's what my car sounds like.

I love it. When I drive friends cars without the exhaust, it is way too quiet...
