Default Correct distributor rotor?

Noticed that there are two types of distributor rotors for 944's or at least they look different depending on which website I look at. For a base '88 can some confirm? Is it the one with just the narrow rotor or the one with the round wide base? Thanks for the help.

Look at the pet for your model...or just unscrew your cap and look. Guessing, the 8v motors are the standard button and the 16v motors have the wider base.

The rotor on my 16V was gray and round. The rotor on my old 8V was red and more triangular.

Easiest way to be sure would be to just pop off the distributor cap and have a look, though.
