PET desperately needs an expression search function.

I wish that it was possible to run it at other resolutions, like on a laptop. The diagrams would sure help sometimes while I'm working on something I took apart a while back. What really frosts me about this is Porsche treats us 944 series owners like we didn't exist, but they wouldn't hesitate to sue over having the word Porsche embroidered on a set of floormats.

FWIW, it's not really Porsche that has the problem it's Lexcon, the company that produces the PET. They just breathe down Porsches neck to police it.

And whoever said it was a POS is right, the dealers hate it and as soon as Porsche's contract expires with Lexcon you can bet they will go another route with the parts catalog.

You don't know when this contract expires do you? Sure would love to be in on the replacement!

Come to think of it I have a distant cousin that works for Porsche in Germany!!!

Yeah! That's the ticket!

What I really hate about it is that when you enter a part # you can't go directly to the diagram containing the part. Also, the descriptions on some items are extremely vague!

Sure you can!

You have to ATP the part. This will give all of the models that the part fits, find you model and click on it and it will go to that page.

Oh and you DO NOT put any spaces in the part number when you type it in. Just type 95112313404 and it will find it, if you add spaces it will tell you number unknown.
