Default Help: I have a sway bar bushing that does not exist

I have a new to me 924S. Original owner replaced the front bar many years ago. He says it is a 944 bar. He did a lot of autocrossing. One inner bushing has disintegrated (right side, oil soak).

Part no. is 951.343.794.06. Clearly a 944 turbo #. Except the number turns up nothing at Pelican or Sierra Madre. Called dealer and they also find nothing. Not NLA or superceded, but nothing. Many front bar bushings have the same number, with the only difference being the last digit, .07,.04, etc.
My bushing is 20mm ID and 45 mm OD. Can't get a good length measurement as I only have half in my hand. I can read the number on the good left side bushing and it is the same. Must be only two of them in the universe!

Anyone else run into this problem? Any ideas short of getting a new bar with obtainable bushings?

Thanks. Already spoke with Steve (very helpful). He can find no .06 bushing either. The bushing I need is 45mm OD. Bushing 951.343.794.07 is only 40mm. It appears I will need to get different bracket "loops" and bushings to fit the loops and my bar.

There's only one bushing that is 20mm ID and that's 477.411.053G. Steve will have it, we have it as well and they're pretty inexpensive. I'm not sure about the number on your existing bushing as none of the Turbo's, including the 86 used a sway bar that small. Get the 477.411.053G and you'll be good to go.

Been there, done that.
See pics, smallest is 477.411.053 G (ordered it first thinking I had a stock 924S bar)
Next is 21.5mm ID 951.343.794.07 (ordered as trial and error after 477 was too small OD, error)
Largest is remains of what I need, 951.343.794.06. I think I have the only two in existence!

Jim, i wonder if someone has put the later bushing clamp on there. I just measured a 944.343.731.02 and it's about 39mm which would be correct for a 40mm OD rubber bushing. You may just need qty 2 of 944.343.731.00.

Have you measured the actual bar for diameter? With the bushing being swollen due to power steering fluid, it would be nice to verify if the bar is actually 20mm.

Just measured my bar at 20mm.
Measured the ID of the clamp bracket at 35mm. I had been measuring only the OD of the old bushing at 45mm. Clearly is has expanded! The stock 477.411.053G is 35mm OD. Maybe I have a stock bar after all. But why 951.343.794.06 bushings?
I am going to remove the bar. Should the 20mm bushing slide on easily or will it need some lube and force?

...lube and some force. You will need to replace the center bushings brackets/clamps for sure.
