I've never worked on MG's but I've worked on Jaguar E-Types. As stated above, find one with a good body. I know several people who have spent upwards of $30,000 just restoring their E-type's bodies. Believe it or not, Ive encountered more problems with the electrical system in the 944 than I have in the E-type.
