Hmm...you'll need a tad more. We have been tweaking the NA for a little bit. Our mark to date is 260 at the wheels. this was a 3.1 liter, 14.5:1 compression, Custom JE pistons, Custom Cam, Masive headwork ( 8 valve), Custom balanced rods, Full race prep 3.0 crank (lightened, balanced, crossdrill, knife edged...all the stuff), Full race clutch, aluminum this and that, no balance shafts, 111 octane leaded fuel, MAF kit, adjustable fuel pressure, MSDS headers, Port matched intake manifold, total seal piston rings, stock DME and ignition...and more.

I doubt your going to make another 140hp with the addition of .2 liters. Might step up to a 16 valve head with very trick cams, super lightweight solid lifter assembly, high revs. But this still has only been guessed to produce in the area of 320hp at the wheels running perfect.

400 is a big mark, and will it last? We blew our pistons with compression. It was very fast but we went above what we KNEW was a safe build, trying to see how far we could take it. Hell, in one POC race this year, we start DFL in the Cup race, and by 4 laps we had gained nearly 3/4 of the total field, then the engine failed.

But its tuning and testing like this on our cars that show us the limits and what needs to be improved.

Take Care

Hence, the term NON-TURBO.

Youre all forgetting the easy way to make 400hp, Nitrous and lots of it. The 400hp might only be there for split second, but your rods will find their way out.
