To be precise, the M030 rotors on the 944 (incl. S2 / Turbo / Turbo S) are solid, while the M030 rotors for the 968 are cross-drilled. They are all interchangeable, however. My 944 Turbo S has a set of 968 M030 rotors now, and the original set is available in case anyone is interested. They are original and well within spec, coming off of the car at 66K miles.

Well I mistakenly trusted amazon's parts matching and ended up with the wrong rotor. Now im really pressed for time till the HPDE event and had to 2 day order from pelican parts.
