Well yesturday was our second rally in the 88 944. This time we were more prepared... brought 2 full size spares. Drove on some used winter tires mounted to 15x7 telephones dials.
WE HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM THOUGH. Need your help please. The amount of dust entering the cab is terrible! It seems to coming through the doors... has anyone dealt with this? It's too much... I thought the heater needed cabin filters installed, so I did that this time but it's still coming into the cab & is choking us out. Sucks... what is the solution? I have the fan on recycle during these rallies. The dust is being kicked up & sucked in by our own automobile.*
These gravel roads have so much gravel I even tagged the oil pan with a pile of gravel on a "main road". Seen is Drumheller, AB where the dinosaur's bone are. Very neat place.
We have had very serious dust problems in some of our 944s at RallyCross events. Most I attribute to the less than robust body structure (rust holes).
You may want to experiment with sealing various items:
1) make sure the clear plastic sheet is in place and providing a good seal behind the door cards.
2) there is a vent at the rear of each door. I am not sure if this can introduce dust to the interior or if it is meant to allow it to exit.
3) make sure the doors seals are doing their job, and the hatch seal as well.
Building positive pressure in the car can help. Many rally cars use a roof mounted vent to help in this area. You will still need to find the leak paths and try to seal these up as best you can.
I have just heard back from a few locals who support your answers to build positive pressure with a HOOD VENT/ HOOD SCOOP. And to seal up the doors (plastic was removed).

If you don't like the looks of that vent, you can enclose it in one of these very stylish scoops. This does help keep the pressure built up - though the cost for that piece is probably 5 times what you would pay for the vent by itself.
This is on the car I drove for much of the 2013 Rally America series.

I don't know if its the same curvature but I have always wondered what a 924 Carrera GT bonnet scoop would look like as a roof scoop. You could make an interior panel out of sheet metal like the demon tweaks piece and fit some common car dash air duct vents.

That doesn't look to have any rally history, nor anything to make me think it would be permitted to run anything more than a run-of-the-mill road rally. It looks interesting but there is no authenticity to the livery or the term "rally". That rear wing is quite awful. I do like the carb set-up. Could be a fun car - but not what it's being advertised as.

It would be pretty generous to give away a Porsche that has any pedigree! Especially at $7 per raffle ticket haha.
I just thought it was a cool "rally style" build that I would share. It's pretty rare to see that done on this platform.
I'm not a huge fan of the wing either. I can say that if I had won that thing I would put a cage in it and have a blast driving the **** out of it down some dirt back-roads or doing some rallycross!
