968 slammed in C&D 1993 article
Read for yourself, they even rated a corvette better.
maybe they should do a follow up test 10 years later to see which car is built better, looks better and performs at or near it's original levels.

What do you expect from a price comparison article where the 968 is put up against 4 twin turbocharged cars and a 5.7 liter Corvette?
The article can be found here [scroll down to the last article under 1993, 12 pages]:

On EDIT: After reading the article again I'd like to point out that the fellow who tested the 968 for this article is a total *****! He's complaining about interior switches...please. Then he spun the car in a test because he can't drive worth a damb, and complains that the suspension is too stiff. Ask me and it's too soft!
Pay the article no mind, with respect to the 968 anyway.

The shifter's reverse lockout isn't strong enough to keep 3-2 downshifts from straying into reverse.
G96 - you're right. The suspension is too soft. Good thing they're still making (a killing off of) the M030 sways.

The guy is obviously of Red Neck decent and enjoys the American muscle as it was compared multiple times in comparison when they are two completely different cars...
But hey I thought this was a funny comment... this is the best this guy can do to tear up the 968...
"Worse, this 968's structure was not impressive. The body creaked and flexed, and the hatch rattled regularly. Going down the road that clung to a Mesa the hood and front fenders set up a St. Vitus dance..."
And all along I thought that the Cayenne was Porsche's first SUV! I can't tell you how many times I go dirt road driving around Mesa's!
