Umm...

You're talking about the factory wheels on your car?

If so, they are 9" Club Sports. And no they wont fit, I tried.

The 9 inch design 90's won't fit in the front of an 89, so I doubt that the ultra rare 9.5 design 90's will fit either.

There is no such thing as a 9" D90.

Clubsport: http://www.wheelenhancement.com/clubsport.htm

D90: http://www.wheelenhancement.com/Design.htm

So it appears they DO make a 9" D90... But its not from a 944, what car did the 9" D90 come on? 928?

Look at the links I posted.
Do you have the wheels where the spokes come flush with the surface of the wheel or are they inset? Are there small lines in the spokes?

If the spokes come flush and there are small lines in the spokes, they are clubsports (forged)(the right wheels).

M030 944S2's have 7.5" fronts and 9" rears, very rare wheels BTW in the states.
Same wheels as the standard 928 GT!

Some of the early 964s had design 90 wheels. I almost bought a '91 964 that had them. (Damn seller's remorse kicked in before I had full possession).

I thought the '90 and '91 951's got the standard 944S2 7's and 8's...

Oh well....
