Default SF Bay Area get-together

I'll be in the Bay Area next week to spend some time in the garage with my nephew and was wondering if anyone observing Veterans Day would be interested in getting together over lunch/coffee on Tuesday to talk shop and kick tires? I'd also be up for a spirited drive on Sunday, 16 Nov, if that has any appeal.

In any case, if there are any local activities planned for the weekend of 15 Nov, I'm all ears.

I have tuesday off, but I'll be pretty busy wrenching on my car. You're welcome to come and watch / hang out, though. PM me for details.

A sunday drive would be fun, but it depends on the area - lot of bicyclists in the peninsula backroads.

Thanks for that link. Let me see what's on the agenda for next Sat.

I'll be spending most of my time on the Peninsula between San Francisco and Redwood City but have no issue taking a drive. Are you up for something on Tue?

Sounds good. Will you be wrenching in the City? I'll PM for more specifics.

There's plenty of fantastic backroads in the peninsula hills. I'm working during the week, but if you get a chance to drive them on the weekdays there's very little traffic.

Check out this map, it's all open, twisty roads in the mountains and along the coast;
