How much should dipstick-tube go in block?
I removed the dipstick tube while taking off the intake manifold and now can't remember if the bottom of the dipstick tube (that has a larger diameter than the rest of the tube) is supposed to go completely in the engine block. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks David:
The o-ring is in place and the tube is in the block just deep enough so that the o-ring is out of sight. What is the bushing that you mentioned? I'll take a look tonight - if it doesn't rain.
How's your beast running btw?

The bushing goes on the tube before the o-ring and when the tube is installed the bushing bottoms out on the block ( keeps the tube from going in too far )
Car is running ok, waiting for Danno to finish the Link EFI so I can tune the monster.
