Default Before and after compression test...

When I bought the car, it had 120 psi compression on all 4 cylinders. The manual says new should be about 145. So I rebuilt the head and re-ringed the motor. The compression is exactly the same!! Yes the motor was warm, throttle open, all plugs out, fuel pump fuse pulled and good gauge....what's left??

There you go. your numbers are fine. The air at 3000 ft is about 92% as dense as sea level, so your numbers will be 92% of sea level as well. Give or take a few psi and maybe you are a bit higher than 3000, and they seem fine to me.

You're physical altitude is around 3000 ft but depending on temperature it could cause the car to feel like it's much higher. That's called "density altitude" and is of paramount importance to airplane engine performance. The higher the temperature, the lower your numbers would be.
