BTW..

If anybody want to change their gear oil I've got that honking 17MM wrench, both in an allen style and the socket type. I am still messing with a very "wallowed out" fill plug on mine. If I don't get it done by the 23rd, I'll have a gallon jug of Sweepco gear oil for sale as well as the 2 new plugs.....

Also have the 02 sensor socket with the cut out if anyone needs to do one of those as well.

I am coming from the airport area. I work for Bridgestone/Firestone out of our corporate marketing dept. I worked at stores for about 5 years.

4.5 Hours sounds right. When I was at NTSU (showing my age) it took about that to get home or to school. Just take 35south to 45 and look for the Cypresswood exit, make a left onto Cypresswood, take that to Aldine Westfield. Turn Right on to A/W and go to the first street AFTER the 3 rd stop light (Praire Bird) the subdivision is "Cypress Trails" Turn Left onto Praire Bird. Go to 1st stop, turn left, go to 1st/only right. Second House on right.

Matt

Do you need a ride from the airport if you're flying in? I'm up that way and would be happy to get ya.

I am going to drive instead. I hate being somewhere and not having a ride. Thanks I really appreciate the offer.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I have to go east of Beaumont on Saturday morning to look at and hopefully buy a pair of BBS wheels to go with the others I have for the race car. We also will have a weekend guest, so I won't be able to stay super late on Saturday.

I do have FSMs and can bring them. In fact, I have both the 944 and the 924 FSMs. I also have a Haynes and a couple of maintenance publications from Porsche that are not terribly common, but quite excellent for their purpose and I think helpful for a belt job.

Sorry I didn't respond before this. I was on a business trip and got msblast last night and spent 6 hours fixing my bloody notebook.

Geo, no sweat. We'll start with James' mounts and once that's done we can start on my belts or whatever other things James needs done. I am trying to locate the "club tool 9201" on the list right now, if we don't have that, there's not much use in doing my belts/seals.
