Bought my 86 n/a new in 1986. Daily driven (30 -40 miles round trip) for 18 yrs ( mostly highway type driving). Now, an occasional weekend driver. Never failed me on the road. Typical maintenance costs: belts, water pump, oil, filters, tires, shocks, etc.
Currently at 288, 400 miles. Engine still original, not opened up. I do "most" of the basic maintenance, Porsche Dealership for timing belts........... Always garaged, which I believe slows down the "aging" process.

Check out Apex on Colfax between Sheridan and Wadsworth in Lakewood. Dave and Randy are the owners. They work on some exotic exotics and are well known in the local Porsche community for doing excellent work, and just as important, standing behind their workmanship.

Of course I know Dave. For some reason he slipped my mind. That and I drive by Stuttgart every day and see the 15 or so Porsches they are working on currently.
